The North South Multipurpose Cooperative Society (NSMPCS) limited
The North South Multipurpose Cooperative Society (NSMPCS) limited was established in 1989 with
purpose of provide assistance to local people for improving their financial status through their own
financial resources .The Society registered with the department of Excise, Taxation and Cooperative
Societies Gilgit Baltistan under Cooperative Societies act 1925. Initially the Society was established with
the participation of small number of shareholders and now operating with five branches. The society
performs its functions in the light of the bye laws. To perform the function of society in accordance with
the bye law it has a General Body, Board of Directors, and Management staff. The Society’s leadership
and management have great responsibility to protect public financial resources as being the custodian
on their behalf.

the assets of members”.
To Improve the quality of life of the members of the society by providing quality products and
services for property enhancement, agriculture development, educational and health dealing
and overall socio-economic development of families through micro financial and credit facility.
